About Excell Control

Based in Wollongong, Excell Control was established in 1988 as the authorised Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley distributor for South-Central NSW. In 2003, Excell Control acquired local Wollongong company Macelec Pty Ltd. Macelec’s expertise in design, manufacture and supply of industrial PA’s, CCTV and electronics supplemented Excell’s existing product range.

In September 2006, Excell Control became part of the ARA Group of companies. ARA is a group of building and infrastructure services and specialised building products companies. The ARA Group was formed through merging a number of strategically aligned companies, offering a broad range of complementary solutions and products.

Each ARA business has a long history, and has been operating successfully and independently across a diverse range of industry sectors.
