Excell Control to Host Sydney and Wollongong Manufacturing and Engineering Event – In.Control.2010
On the 18th and 19th May 2010, Excell Control will be hosting the Manufacturing and Engineering Event - In.Control.2010. Events will be held in Sydney and Wollongong.
Excell Control is the local distributor of Daanet, the authorised Australian distributor for Hirschmann's range of Industrial Ethernet equipment, IDEM Safety Switches and Bernecker & Rainer (B&R). These products and technical sessions will be presented at the Sydney and Wollongong events. Mathworks, Matlab and Simulink products will be also presented as they can be used with B&R Controllers.

Eagle Tofino switches offer protection
Hirschmann, a Belden Company has announced a new range of zone level security switches that protect control systems against network problems and cyber threats. The Hirschmann Eagle Tofino line combines a rugged security appliance with a collection of software modules that together provide practical and effective industrial network security, which is simple to implement and does not require plant shutdowns.
Suitable for use by the process control and SCADA industries, the range of products provide improved safety, network security and performance of industrial control systems.
